There are striking 360 degree views from the terraces, looking South towards the sophisticated seaside town of Denia, with the Montgo mountain behind, and North to Gandia, Cullera and on to the bay of Valencia. To the West is an intriguing hinterland of marshes, backed by beautiful mountains, valleys and villages, and to the East a wide vista of the Mediterranean.
The resort of Oliva Playa offers a selection of local restaurants, bars and cafes, and a few shops. There is also a Marina and Yacht Club. 'Oliva Surf', further up the beach, provides wind surfing lessons, canoes for hire and children's activities.

Inland (and quickly reached by catching the local bus just behind the apartments) is the bustling modern town of Oliva, where there is an extensive range of shops and facilities, as well as a large weekly Friday Outdoor Market.
