1894 steht über der Tür unseres gemütlichen Cottages mitten im alten Ortskern gegenüber der Kirche. Tatsächlich ist es noch viel älter und schon in alten Plänen des Dorfes eingzeichnet. Nach einem kompletten Umbau und einer Renovierung 2021 erstrahlt es in Landhauscharme mit modernen Akzenten - Gemütlichkeit aber ohne Kitsch - und ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Eure Ferien auf dem Land.
The Space:
- Ground floor: An open floor plan unites entry, kitchen, living and dining areas. The wood burner guarantees cosy evenings. Washer and dryer are located under the stairs. The kitchen is fully equpped with a dishwasher, stove, glass cook top, Fridge/freezer and a microwave.
- First Floor: The modern bathroom with a shower is located here as well as a small bedroom with a double bed and built-in closet.
- Second Floor: The loft bedroom with an alkove bed, TV, desk and built-in closets. ON the gallery there is an additional single bed under the slopes..

The Neighborhood:
Mitten in der Südeifel gelegen kann man von unserem Cottage aus die herrliche Landschaft erkunden, kleine Dörfchen, Burgen und Schlösser entdecken und einizgartige Städte wie Trier (35 min.) oder Luxemburg (50 min.) besuchen. Die nächste größere Stadt ist Bitburg (15 min.).
Im Ort gibt es ein Bistro mit gemütlichem Biergarten vor der Burg unter den alten Kastanien, zwei Restaurants, einen kleinen Supermarkt, eine Bäckerei, und eine Bank mit Geldautomat.

Getting Around:
Die nächsten Bahnhöfe befinden sich in etwa 2,5 km. in Philippsheim (kein Taxi) oder in Bitburg-Erdorf ca. 6 km. an der "Eifel-Express-Linie Trier-Köln". Öffentliche Bus verkehren gelegentlich nach Bitburg.
Man kann gegenüber vom Cottage parken. Ein kostenloser öffentlicher Parkplatz befindet sich auch außerhalb des Dorfes vor der Burg, von dort sind es ca. 100 m Fußweg. Eine weitere kostenloste Parkmöglichkeit besteht neben der Kirche in ca. 30 m Entfernung.
