On the rugged west coast of Tenerife, just a few steps from the sea, in the heart of a vast banana plantation, you will find the Canarian style house "Casa Drago". As one of a total of 6 houses, it was built over 70 years ago to accommodate harvesters, it is now - after a complete renovation - the perfect place to spend relaxing holidays without hustle and bustle and without crowds of tourists on the largest Canary Island.
The single-storey holiday home has a living room with sofa, a well-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave and large fridge/freezer, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with shower/WC and offers space for 2 people.
The facilities also include Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a television. Cot and high chair are available on request. A washing machine is available to all guests of the complex, an iron is also available on request. The owners also live on the plantation, they have a dog, which sometimes runs free, as well as chickens and turtles.
Outside there is a private terrace with table, chairs and sun beds. The plantation also offers a communal garden with barbecue, a private access to the sea with a natural sea swimming pool, less than 5 minutes walk away.
The sea view on this coast is breathtaking, you can see as far as La Gomera and La Palma and you can see the volcano El Teide.
In the neighbouring village of Alcalá you will find several supermarkets and restaurants within a radius of 1.5 to 2 km, which can also be reached on foot in about 15 to 20 minutes. There are also other natural sea swimming pools and beaches.
The nearest airport is Tenerife South and is located about 39 km or 35 minutes by car.
