Germany's second largest island offers miles of fine sandy beaches, which you can reach in a few minutes by car. Surrounded by an extensive nature reserve with a lot of untouched nature and many animal and plant species, you will find peace and relaxation and at the same time leisure activities for the whole family.
The imperial resorts of Heringsdorf, Ahlbeck and Bansin with their leisure and cultural activities can be easily reached by car after about 10 km. Two golf courses, riding facilities and the Ostseetherme are also in the immediate vicinity. The Usedom hinterland is an absolute insider tip and ideal starting point for cycling enthusiasts due to the many sights, such as the moated castle Mellenthin, Stolpe Castle or the Achterwasser and the beautiful landscape with numerous lakes. The fishing village Kamminke with its small harbor, fishing and bathing beach is about 6 km away.
Worth seeing is the vibrant Polish Baltic Sea town of Swinemünde, which invites you to stroll and can also be reached in about 15 minutes.
Near the vacation village is the small airport of Usedom. Here you can watch an airplane take off or land about 1x a day in the summer season and experience an eventful day with your children in the indoor and outdoor play world of Hangar 10.
