'Mas Des Fleurs' itself is bordered by an Apricot orchard, Olive grove and vine and palm tree nurseries, and is situated in the centre of a unique conservation area of fruit and vegetable farms called Les Jardins des St. Jacques. There is a lovely restaurant in walking distance from the farmhouse and 'Les Jardins SJ' is also home to a historic and picturesque village (Chateau Roussillon) and two first class vineyards. Plus, the beautiful city of Perpignan, with fabulous shopping, pavement cafes and historic sites is only a short bike ride or two minute car journey from the farmhouse. Throughout the year there are many festivals in the palm-tree lined city, while the old quarter is home to several multi-cultural food markets and full of fascinating Catalan architecture.
It's a truly superb region for any type of holiday at any time of year, with windsurfing, kitesurfing, walking , climbing, skiing, tennis, and golf all within easy reach. From exploring The Pyrenees and Spain to soaking up the sun of The Med or touring the vineyards of the Roussillon region, there's a new activity in every direction.
