Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The apartment was lovely, clean and tidy and in good repair. Well equipped kitchen, with things like condiments and oil etc (though my friends were disappointed there was no coffee!) The views are stunning!
Negative: There wasn't any bedding or towels. Unfortunately the host had informed us of these facts after we booked and paid in French on a message in booking.com, which wasn't read as the email from booking.com went into junk. As we had travelled from the UK it wasn't easy to remedy this. Luckily we had friends close by that were able to help us! Also the host, instead of employing a cleaner or doing it himself, expects you to deep clean the apartment; I of course clean up after myself, as do my friends, but we didn't go on holiday to hoover etc, especially at the price he charges, I would have booked somewhere else had I known this; he even has a notice up suggesting that when you have cleaned you go back and do it again! The previous guest had left the dishwasher full, which meant if we wanted to use it we needed to empty it and put stuff away without knowing where it was suppose to live!!!!! There was no information pack to tell you how things work (except the cleaning instructions), so if you haven't used an induction hob you might not be to use it! The wifi signal was not the best. Also the loft mezzanine is open to the lounge and not suitable for adults, so this is not really a 3 bed apartment. Also if you go out take the keys as when we got back on the second day the key code to the front door didn't work anymore. This is not suitable for people with mobility issues, as there are two flights of stairs to reach the apartment.
Summary: Great place, gorgeous area, but without bedding, towels & having to clean its not worth the money
