Total tranquility, in the heart of a peaceful little typical rural hamlet (home to their son's family farm a stone's throw away / "farm tour" possible on request), nestled in the heart of the preserved Brionnaise countryside in the hollow of a soothing valley of meadows, in the heart of the sublime local bocage dotted with ponds & rivers, in close proximity to beautiful wild forests. Magnificent hilly rural setting all around mixing agriculture & nature. Spacious gîte. Beautiful living room bathed in light by a large bay window. Warm & exotic country character of "rustic" spirit sublimated by the exotic soul of the original building (stone walls with its niches, stone & wood lintels, French ceilings, beams & framework, floor stone ... original). Pleasant walled garden (dressed with a vine trellis) where a beautiful cherry tree (picking possible) sits with a large exposed gravel terrace, offering a beautiful unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside. Access to a "natural" pétanque ground (shared with another gîte).
