Our apartments are located in the newly created residential park "Hafenkante" on Großräschener See in a direct location from the future city harbor and only a few minutes walk from the IBA terraces.

Between Berlin and Dresden, the flooding of previous open-cast mines creates Europe's largest artificial lake landscape. A spectacular water world with more than 20 artificial lakes that are connected by navigable canals and thus form a landscape of unique dimensions. Where gigantic excavators used to dig through the ground, holidaymakers now set sail, go fishing, swimming or surfing. In the Lusatian Lakeland you will experience a landscape change that could hardly be more spectacular.
Großräschen is in close proximity to the A13 motorway and is an hour's drive from Berlin and a 45-minute drive from Dresden. The port basin of the later city harbor was built on behalf of the federally owned Lausitzer und Mitteldeutsche Bergbaugesellschaft (LMBV). This will fill up due to the steadily rising water level of Lake Großräschen. Here, white city villas with modern architecture were built and completed in autumn 2017.
