Summary: This hotel is situated with a beautiful view, right across the street from the Mosel River. We enjoyed sitting by the river on a bench with our drinks and watching the boats. And from our window we could see the castle on the hill. But we were disappointed with the room. Our first night we were given a room that was not clean (dust wads and hair in the floor and spiderwebs in the corners) with a disfunctional shower (shower doors were broken and shower didn’t drain). Also there was a loud barking dog in the next room. The next day they moved us to a better room, and it was clean with a working shower. They do have a restaurant, but it was all buffet-style self serve, which we don’t like. So we ate at other restaurants in the area.
