You can expect "pure nature" right on the doorstep. You can toboggan behind the house, and there are also playgrounds and a soccer field with table tennis. Worthwhile excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity are, for example, the Rennsteig summit hiking trail. Places such as the theater city of Meiningen, Erfurt, Weimar, Ilmenau or Coburg can also be reached quickly thanks to the convenient connection. Hikes through the UNESCO-recognized Vessertal biosphere reserve are very worthwhile. Crystal clear streams ripple through partially untouched nature and invite you to relax and unwind.
