The chalet is in a great location for those who prefer to be in the calm. It has views across tothe pistes in Chinaillon, with easy and quick access to the village, via ski bus or car.
We feel Chalet des Momes will especially appeal to families with young children who may have lessons in the morning and then want to head back to the chalet in the afternoons. But then again, the snow park and off piste/ parapenting possibilities make Chinaillon an interesting base for more experienced sports enthusiasts too.
The picture window in the living room frames beautiful views, all year round, and the terrace off the main living spaceis a total suntrap.
The mezzanine bedroom overlooks the dining table and kitchen. The space can be made more cosy and private by drawing the thick floor to ceiling curtains. It has its own shower room, other guests head downstairs to bed, apart from the two guests using the mezzanine.
The outdoor spaces at the chalet mean that guests can dine, read, relax in the jacuzzi, sunbathe, play boules on the area to the front of the chalet, or take in the natural beauty of the local waterfall not far from the chalet.

IMPORTANT: the "jacuzzi" is actually a Scandinavian bath. Instructions will be provided by the manager on arrival.
