Former Post Office, that is to say a place where fresh horses were kept ready for riders in order to allow maximum speed for communication by mail, the establishment was naturally called The Post Office Hotel in the 20th century.
In 2007, the hotel was bought by H. Minoui. He renovated the premises and named it Hôtel des arts. Designed for artists, the establishment hosted exhibitions, conferences and concerts. Unfortunately H. Minoui died and the work was stopped for 7 years.
In 2021, Thierry Liger, the current owner literally fell in love during a visit. He decided to buy it and finish the renovation begun in the spirit of Perche with its cut stones and local tiles.
In 2024, a reception and seminar room and 7 small lodgings make up the Hôtel des Arts whose name he wanted to keep.
By 2025, a spa, a large gîte and a country barn will be created at the Hôtel des Arts.
