Summary: Very nice location, next to a beautiful beach and close to some nice restaurants and bars. There is also a good supermarket just across the street which is very handy. The view from the balcony was truly exceptional, taking in the sea and beach. The apartment was well appointed with all the necessary cooking equipment etc. The restaurant directly below the apartment was quite noisy, and operated as a bar until late at night. The music was fairly loud and some evenings you could hear people talking until very late, so this could be a problem for some guests. If you closed the windows this was ok but if the weather is hot then as there is no aircon it becomes too hot in the apartment. We would normally close them until about 2am when things were quite then one of us would go round and open to then up to get some air flow, so it was not a major problem for us. The balcony was also just above the dining terrace of the restaurant and so you did feel a little bit on show in the evenings, but actually after a few nights I got used to it an quite enjoyed looking at the food that was being ordered! The biggest complaint was the strong smell of cooking fat or similar that I think was extracted from the restaurant below, or was somehow getting in to the apartment. It really effected one bathroom and the bedroom next to it. We chose to not use the bathroom as the smell was so bad, and kept the door closed with a towel blocking the smells coming under the door. This worked quite well, so the effected bedroom remained just about ok for sleeping in. Overall despite the problems we had a good stay and loved the location, with the fantastic view.
