When you arrive in Ambialet, you might feel a bit lost. But don't worry — you'll quickly understand how the village is laid out!
The 3-kilometre-long meander of the Tarn River forms a peninsula, crowned by a priory and an 11th-century Romanesque church, both built on a schist peak. A breathtaking view over the meander and the valley awaits visitors who follow the Way of the Cross up to the priory. The village is remarkable for being built on the most pronounced isthmus in Europe.
In a former riverside house fully renovated in 2020, this 60 m² apartment features a large 20 m² terrace overlooking the Tarn isthmus like a balcony. Located in the upper part of the village, you'll be right in front of the arrival point for canoes and kayaks from Trébas. A shared garden of about 500 m² leads down to the Tarn and its banks, where you can fish while enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings.
You're just a stone's throw from Albi's cathedral and historic centre, both listed as UN
