There are nearby restaurants and cafes, where you can enjoy a great dinner or breakfast. Supermarkets and convenience stores can be reached within 2-10 minutes, and some are open until 22.00. On Sundays there is an open supermarket 3 km away.
The Baltic Sea, the bay of Kiel as well as the Danish Wahld (a peninsula located between Kiel and Eckernförde Bay) offer versatile and wonderful nature.
The apartment is an ideal starting point for long bike rides.
The capital of Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel, can be reached quickly and easily by car or public transportation, and there are lots of attractions and shops in Kiel making it worth a visit.
The annual Kieler Woche, German for "the Kiel Week", takes place in the last week of June and is the world's largest sailing event. There are lots of events for adults as well as children. The largest sailing events, such as the Windjammer Parade, take place by the Falkenstein and Schilksee beaches, which are located only 2-4 km from the apartment.

Falkenstein: approx. 2 km away (in summer there is a bus leaving from the city centre to the beach)
Schilksee: approx. 3 km by car or 3-4 bus stops away
Various beaches can be reached by bus and are located about 4 km away.
Public transportation:
The buses "12", "13" and "91" can be reached in 3-5 minutes.
The steamboat "Fördedampfer" is docking nearby.

In the bright living room you will find a flat screen satellite TV and fast wireless Internet access. The living room deliberately works as a common room (and not a bedroom) and here you can spend time together even if some wants to go to sleep.
The kitchen is small but nice and is equipped with induction cooktops, multifunction microwave, dishwasher and basic kitchen utensils.
The apartment also has a bathroom, a hallway with wardrobe and mirror as well as a lovely balcony where you (hopefully) can enjoy the afternoon sun.
The apartment is bright and welcoming.
Family friendly (travel cot and high chair on request. The combined bedroom/dining room is particularly good for children)
