Nearby is Bakewell with one of the oldest weekly markets in the area, Chatsworth House and Matlock Bath, all easily accessible by car. There are lovely country walks from the property for those who enjoy the outdoors and plenty of off-road cycling tracks. Matlock has a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, a weekly market and parks. Matlock Bath is a well-known resort on the River Derwent. Converted in 2005 and part of a former corn mill complex is this beautiful three bedroom cottage, ideal for long and short getaways.
