Positive: The owner arranged for the keys to be left with a taxi driver as our flight was due to land late in the evening. He arranged for both our pick up and drop off at the airport which was so helpful. The villa is lovely, newly refurbished and is in a great location to the beach, (with amazing views) so long as you’re happy to walk the steeper hill cam. De Burriana. The ground floor has two bedrooms and a third which can be used as a walk-in wardrobe and bag/case store. The balcony from the living room and kitchen is a great size and can easily accommodate 6 adults. There is another outdoor dining area immediately on arriving at the villa which is very private and almost completely covered, which was great when it rained.
Negative: What wasn’t clear is that the villa is set out over two floors without an internal connecting staircase. From the ground floor you can only access the additional double bedroom, second living room and large bathroom via the garden steps down to the pool and garden at the lower ground floor level. This part of the property has its own private front door which would be ideal for older children/teenagers or friends etc.
