Positive: The location of the accommodation was excellent, nestled within a forest, with a short walk to the lake and easy car access to the nearby beach. The swimming pool, although small, was sufficient for a refreshing dip on a hot day. The property also had a small bar that served some hot food, and you could order fresh bread for the next morning. Overall, the location was great, but there are a few things I would like to highlight

Negative: Where do I begin? Let's start with the condition of the houses - they definitely need some refurbishment. It seems like there hasn't been much investment in maintenance since they were first built. There were a number of broken things, but the main issue was the overall cleanliness. The houses were quite dusty, with spider webs and even spiders all over the place. This is likely due to the lack of mosquito nets on any of the windows. Without air conditioning, you have to keep the windows open, which allows all sorts of insects to get inside. My kids were initially afraid of the spiders, but they eventually got used to the smaller ones after a few days. I also had to fix the sliding doors on the terrace, as they were off the track and couldn't be properly closed and locked. And there was also an ant problem, which is understandable given the forest location, but could probably be better managed with some treatment. Overall, with a bit of investment to address these issues, this could be a much better location. But as it stands, the lack of upkeep and the insect problem detracted from the otherwise great setting, nestled in the forest with easy access to the lake and beach.

Summary: The location had potential, but the lack of upkeep and cleanliness issues made for a disappointment
