Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Nice location & view from the balcony. I liked that was up on the hillside, but not too far from the beach side or stores/supermarkets by foot, or you could walk higher up the hill for beautiful sky lines (if you like hiking and don’t mind walking steep slopes that is). If you have issues with walking, then a car is def. recommended. Good overal communication with the host (I met with her mom, that explained all that was needed).

Negative: The apartment is on the first floor, right above the swimming pool, hence less privacy as far as balcony goes, but you can improvise something to make it more private for yourself. The round glass table is not really practical. The apartment (and the part of the complex in which it is) is under construction, so at first the location of the apartment in the complex can be a bit off putting compared to other apartments there, but you get used to it and fortunately I didn’t experience much noise issues. The oven misses some marks, so you have to look up the manual online, if you don’t know how to use it. The sun umbrella on the balcony needs to be replaced, unfortunately I didn’t get a response from the host at first about it (which was a bit weird, because she said she saw my request), but after checking again, she (understandably) stated it couldn’t be replaced in time, since it takes time to order and receive.
