THE BARN is situated in the stunning Sierra de Montanchez in Extremadura. It is in its own private meadow within a big finca with wonderful views over the olive groves and up to the mountain. Very peaceful unspoilt nature, excellent for bird watching and walking. A great place to stay at any time of the year.
Very spacious double height sitting room with doors leading to a charming porch with views of olive groves and the peaks of the sierra. One large bedroom with double bed upstairs. Kitchen is well equipped, bathroom has spacious shower area. Very private with own entrance and peaceful atmosphere. Super pool with private terrace just for the barn clients.
From the finca there are wonderful walks into the sierra, bird watching especially delightful. A perfect place to stay for a few days or longer. There are special rates for longer stays. Explore the 3 UNESCO world heritage towns, Merida for Roman ruins, Caceres for Medieval atmosphere, Trujillo for conquistador mistique; all full of historical interest and very picturesque within 40kms of the finca. Also charming, authentic villages within a few kilometres.
