Château MontPlaisir is a mansion built at the end of XVII by a noble family of Avignon. Located in Provence, in the Enclave of the Popes, Valréas, north of Vaucluse, about 35 kms from the highway south, it is built in height, facing west, which offers breathtaking sunsets on the mountains of Ardèche in the distance.
The castle is surrounded by terraces, adorned with fountains and ponds.
The whole has been entirely renovated, respecting the charm and the patina of the materials of time. A set of large rooms make up the ground floor, living room, relaxation, equipped kitchen and dining room which gives directly on the vast larch terrace that surrounds the heated pool, original octagonal.
The five rooms on the first floor are large and bright. Each has a bathroom and a separate toilet. The very comfortable bedding is in 180 by 200. One of the five rooms offers a suite and an additional bed. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
On the second floor, there is also an apartment, consisting of two bedrooms, a dining room and kitchen and a bathroom.

The region offers summer and winter beautiful scenery, hilly, the foothills of the Alps, consisting of vineyards, olive trees, fruit trees, lavender and wood. It is also a famous region for these truffle oaks.
