Modern top floor apartment situated less than 3 minutes walk from the waters edge, with fine views of the clean safe Mar Menor – a natural lagoon, which is ideal for swimming, snorkelling etc.
There is also a communal swimming pool & free underground parking. It is a pleasant 5-min walk along the beach from Playa Honda where there are a couple of restaurants & bars, a Spar supermarket & a Pharmacy. The following are all just 5 minutes drive away – Los Belones, a friendly village with plenty of bars & restaurants. Cabo De Palos, a pretty fishing port with several restaurants specialising in fresh seafood, & a large supermarket. La Manga Strip with sandy Mediterranean beaches & plenty of shops, bars & restaurants. The world famous La Manga Club golf resort.
There are several markets nearby & Cartagena is only a 20-minute drive. Murcia Corvera Airport is 30 minutes away while Alicante is a 70 minute drive.

Summary: Ideal location for beach and as we had a car for getting all around the mar menor area. The host Kevin was really accommodating allowing us to stay late when we had a late flight and our point of contact over there Debbie and her husband were really helpful and accomodating with a couple of small issues we had due to an unusual storm. The apartment is just as described and literally a stone's throw from the mar menor and a few minutes drive from cabo de palos on the med A couple of minutes at the bottom of the apartments is a well stocked spar supermarket and cabo de palos has mercado and Aldis locally theresa couple of restaurants but again as we had a car we found many lovely restaurants in cabo de palos los belones and further away at los alcazares. We had a great time and had everything we needed Many Thanks again to Kevin and Debbie.
