The villa benefits from being a short distance (15 minutes walk) from the town centre and just 800m from the 4Km "Blue Flag" award winning sandy beach. Take a leisurely walk along the promenade, perhaps stopping off at the beach cafes, the wide choice of restaurants, bars, shops, pier, marina and twice weekly market. Alternatively hire a bike and cycle alongside the Canal Du Midi or through the nearby vineyards. Water sports, tennis and a ferry across the River Orb to Serignan Beach are available in season. About 10 minutes drive from the A9 peage, with access to a range of interesting areas locally and further afield, Valras-Plage is an excellent base for exploring the Languedoc and surrounding regions' beautiful coastal and inland scenery, many historic sites, such as nearby Beziers or the medieval City of Carcassone further afield, picturesque villages, plus activities such as varied walking or canoeing.
