The house is ideally located in Beaudéan, in a peaceful and very pleasant environment. You'll enjoy superb mountain views and the tranquility of the small stream in front of the house. Nearby, you'll find a bakery, a pastry shop and a sports store (bicycles available for hire). You can also visit the Larrey museum (Napoleon's great doctor).
In Bagnères de Bigorre (3 km from the accommodation), you can enjoy all the essential stores but also boutiques, restaurants, bars, market...
Activities:
- Discover a variety of outdoor activities nearby: hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, accrobranche, and skiing at La Mongie, accessible in just 30 minutes.
- Relax at the Bagnères-de-Bigorre thermal baths, just 5 minutes away.
- Enjoy cultural and musical events throughout the year: the Piano Pic Festival in July, the Offrande Musicale, the Big Bag festival in September (rock concerts), the annual Tour de France, and Les Voix du Vallon in July.
- The gîte is just 30 minutes from Lourdes, offering an ideal opportunity for spiritual and cultural visits.
- Walks are possible from the gîte, as are numerous hikes just 15 minutes away by car (le lac bleu, les cabanes de la lit, ...).

If you choose to come by car, you can park for free in the parking lot in front of the gîte.

- Nearest airport: Pau-Pyrénées, approx. 80 km (1 hr by car)
- We recommend that you use your car to make the most of your stay.
- A shuttle bus is available to La Mongie.
