Nestled along a quiet country lane, amidst fields and woodland lies a charming ancient farm conversion retaining many of its original features. The Manoir is the large farm house, alongside three cottages, which surround a beautiful, calm and safe private courtyard.
The Manoir is the main house and is separate from the cottages. It benefits from its own private parking, entrance, garden and swimming pool to the rear and overlooks the shared courtyard to the front. Built around the 17th century, the renovations have retained the natural rustic charm with many original features including classic oak beams, Pigeonnier tower, stone sink and a walnut staircase running to the first and second floors.
The Manoir comfortably accommodates ten guests in five large bedrooms. There is a fully fitted kitchen with range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a breakfast table. From the kitchen a few stairs lead to the dining room and then the ground floor lounge. There is a large oak table seating up to 16 guests, which can be extended to accommodate an addition 6 - 8 guests. The comfortable lounge area is a calm space for groups to rest and relax.
A staircase leads to the first floor where there is a second sitting area. There is a TV with UIK Freesat TV and a DVD player. French TV can also be available. Along the landing is a large king-sized bedroom and bathroom with a large shower, sink and WC. A twin bedroom opens onto the small outside terrace with table and chairs overlooking the courtyard allowing far reaching views over fields and woodland.
The staircase continues to the second floor where there is a large double bedroom and two additional twin bedrooms, one of which is in the pigeonnier tower overlooking fields. There is a shower room with handbasin and WC.
Traditional shutters are fitted to most windows.
Outside to the rear of the Manoir, the private garden has its own pool (9m x 5m) which benefits from full sunshine, with welcome shaded area, under trees, for guests to relax. There is a BBQ and a large patio area, with tables, chairs and parasols for guests to enjoy outside eating and living.
Pets are very welcome.
Quality bed linen, blankets, towels and beach towels (for the pools) are provided. Cots, baby baths, highchairs, changing mats, potties and stair gates are available as are washing machines, irons & ironing boards.
