Surrounded by large private grounds & set on the banks of the river Thames the facilities include a BBQ & Swimming Pool. A perfect holiday home for families & friends looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. Located 3.2 Miles from Henley, 4.7 miles to Marlow.

Families of all ages are welcome, for group bookings we have a strictly over 30's policy. Unfortunately we no do not accepts events, parties or weddings.
Waterfront retreat is a grand Edwardian house built on the banks of the river Thames with 127ft of river frontage. The period features include a grand open baronial hall with striking original features including stained glass windows and decorative tapestry panels to retain the original character of the house.
The charming house instantly impresses as visitors pull up to the large driveway which has plenty of parking for several cars.
When the post sunset chill sets in, head into the stunning lounge area, a perfect place to unwind after a day out on the river. You will certainly feel right at home in the comfortable living area with it's ornately painted ceiling with visions of nymphs. Relax on one of the 3 sofas and settle into a movie on the flat screen television. If you fancy a more cosy and snug spot to relax then head to the snug located in the main focal point of the house, the baronial hall.
The dining room boasts a large antique dining table, perfect for grand group dinners and a perfect way to socialise with your loved ones. On warm days enjoy outdoor life with alfresco dining and fire up the barbecue. Unwind with a glass of wine watching the picture postcard riverside location.
The large outdoor swimming pool is a perfect way to entertain the children, whilst the pool is not heated it is perfect place to cool down during the hot summer days. The swimming pool is available during peak season running from May to September only.
The stunning contemporary kitchen has an island/breakfast bar no doubt the hub of the action during the holiday as large lunches and celebratory dinners are prepared. The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, large oven, induction hob, American style fridge freezer and a dishwasher.
Waterfront Retreat is home to an impressive seven bedrooms with all the comforts and facilities to feel right at home.
There are several walking and cycling routes through one of Great Britain's most beautiful natural areas right on the doorstep. The market town of Marlow and Henley-On-Thames are also a short drive away making Waterfront Retreat a fantastic base for exploring the local area The nearest village is Hambleden which is famous for the chalk streams, chiltern hills and also a very famous filming location.
Located in Mill End within 3.2 miles to Henley Town centre and within 1 mile to Hambleden.
Hambleden is a picturesque village and a famous filming location where Chitty Chitty bang bang, 101 Dalmatians and mid summer murders were filmed to name just a few! The village is situated in the chiltern hills with stunning countryside walks and cycle routes. In the summer many tourists also come to look at the chalk streams. The village has a small convenience store which also has a tea shop selling tea, coffee and cakes and The Stag and Huntsmans pub which serves beverages and food. Hambleden is a few minutes car journey or a 30 minute walk.
Henley is famous for rowing with the Royal Regatta being held each year on the Thames. There is plenty to see and do in Henley with it's large variety of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, boutique shops and with boat hire, bike hire, greys court national trust, the river & rowing museum, kenton theatre and a cinema.
Walks to Henley, Marlow and Hambleden are all easily accessible.
A regular local bus service is within a few minutes walk from the property which goes to Henley or Marlow.
It is a short taxi ride to Henley or Marlow.
The nearest train station is in Henley on Thames.
