ED Refnr. 2770670 The holiday house is situated in Klingenthal on a generous forest and meadow site by Scheibenberg with a view towards Aschberg. It is an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling and skiing. You can spend a holiday at our house like in granddad’s day. The listed residential house from the year 1820, with a typical Vogtland wooden log structure, has been charmingly renovated and offers modern comfort. Primarily real wood and natural stone were used, ensuring the cosiness of this house and preserving the original flair of the past. The house offers three separate apartments each for 1 to 6 people, with a living and dining room, a kitchen, bedrooms, a sleeping gallery and a shower/WC. The apartments are generously equipped and the kitchen has a dishwasher, ceramic hob with an oven, fridge-freezer, microwave. Central heating, underfloor heating in the bathroom, a fireplace stove, a flatscreen TV and an audio system are provided. The house is on a 2500m² generous forest and meadow site and provides ample space for children to play. Outside there are terraces with seating, a grill area and a roofed outdoor seating area, as well as two parking spaces. The house is easy to access in any season, even in the winter months a 4WD is not necessary. The hiking and cross-country skiing network is right nearby. The ski resort in Mühlleithen is about five minutes away by car and the neighbouring ski resort in Bublava (Czech Republic) is also just 5km away. The Vogtland is no doubt one of the most beautiful Mittelgebirge landscapes in Germany. With the Vogtland Panoramaweg, Höhensteig Klingenthal and the Kammweg Vogtland-Erzgebirge, the Vogtland has quality hiking trails and a hiking network of 1500km. In 2005 the Vogtland was voted the most popular hiking region in Germany. Of course you can also explore the Erzgebirge/Vogtland nature reserve by bicycle. Guests can enjoy good gastronomy in Klingenthal. The Kammloipe (36km) only about 1km from the house runs along the mountain crest from Schöneck to Johanngeorgenstadt and is among the longest trails in Germany and most sure of snow. It has many connecting trails. For downhill skiers, there is the training slope in Mühlleithen for beginners (5 minutes by car from the house), and for those who prefer more action, there are 7 lifts and 1 chairlift in Bublava 5km away. The trails and downhill pistes are also well-prepared in the Schöneck ski world. For those who like romance, it is possible to enjoy the winter landscape on a horse-drawn cart ride.
