Positive: Really appreciated the little touches: an extra roll of toilet paper, (full) shampoo and bodywash dispensers in the shower. Comfi room temp. Curtains AND a roller shutter so the room is dark at night. Well-designed room. Very clean.

Negative: The check-in process was stressful. Details on how to check in were sent very late. When I sent a question the night before about the check-in process, I received an auto-reply that everyone was away and would be back in a few days (after my stay!!). The next day I did receive a personal reply but it was in German, even though I contacted them Dutch. This is strange because the first ever message I received from them was in Dutch, but then close to the booking date, all messages were suddenly in German. I understand German o.k. but I guess different staff members speak different languages and their standard templates are German only? Their door-access system is VERY modern but also very unusual. It was easy to find the key in the lock-box, but very difficult to understand what to do with it and where to use it. After reading the instructions about 10x and walking around the building a few times, I finally understood how it worked. A video of someone using the keyfob would help! (And send this a week in advance, not last-minute!) It's hard to understand a check-in system that is so different. Also, the knob that you have to turn is quite slippery so not the easiest to use. I am not the only one who had issues with this! One guest almost had a panic attack because she had the key, but arrived late when it was dark... it was almost impossible to even "see" the blue button that you needed to press. She knocked loudly and I Iet her in and explained and practiced the system with her... It's a little crazy that guests have to help each other like this to not be locked out in the cold! I stayed there when there was no staff. That's o.k. in theory but they really need to improve the instructions and send those instructions earlier, so guests have time to figure it all out. I was asked to check-in online, on desktop. Ok that's fine, but don't send that request the day before!
