Please use dog blankets and towels. These are ready and waiting for use ;-). Please do not leave the fur noses on the sofa or in bed (it is difficult for me to get the dog hair out).

On the doorstep you have access to numerous hikes - ideally straight to the Hessian state domain with a fantastic view of the Rhine. In the middle of nature and only a walk away from the world-famous Eberbach Monastery, location for the film classic "In the Name of the Rose" (there are guided tours that make reference to this film). Numerous wine tasting stands (the most beautiful is in Hattenheim) and wine festivals tempt with good Riesling during the summer months. Within a short time you are in Wiesbaden, Mainz, the rose city of Eltville and Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, Niederwald monument, boat tours, Loreley and the Christmas market of the nations.
