The location is central yet quiet, at the end of a small street directly on the castle island with a unique view of the Peene and the Peene Bridge, known as the "Blue Wonder", which leads to the sunny island of Usedom. Restaurants and shops are nearby and just a short walk away. The Peene is a river with bathing water quality and is ideal for swimming, fishing and various water sports, such as sailing. Wolgast offers its guests a wide range of leisure activities. Start a bike tour on one of the developed cycle paths, take a ride on one of the excursion boats, or enjoy the view over the city from the tower of St. Petri Church, in the center of the city. In Wolgast there is a family animal park, museums and exhibitions and a local weekly market every Thursday.
