Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The apartments are beautiful and spacious, and superbly located for the Superbagneres Lift. However, unfortunately said lift is a year overdue on its renewal, so we had to drive up to Luchon each day. This did, however, provide us the advantage of getting to know a few other places in the area and a few other resorts which were accessible by a short car journey. The pool is small but fantastic to relax in after a days skiing. There are probably 3-6 restaurants on the same street as the apartment Eugenie and a ski shop just down the road (same as the Casino supermarket). Ski passes could easily be purchased from literally opposite the apartment. Our host was fantastic, but owing to my poor French, there were a few miscommunications along the way - nothing that spoilt our trip.

Negative: We were guilty of not speaking good enough French to fully get the instructions for the apartment and how our host wanted it returned to them. We didn't read the manual and as such, there was some frustration when we'd forgotten to strip the beds, open the curtains, clean the whole thing upon its return.

Summary: We will absolutely use this again.
