Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I really liked the space, the only thing I would add is a cooling fan and some laundry liquid to do the washing for a week (I bought some but couldn't use it all). The space was comfortable, spacious and I had a wonderful time with quiet neighbours. It was an excellent break from London, in a quiet neighborhood with various bars and restaurants nearby. This would be perfect for 2-4 people but I really enjoyed that they allowed a one person booking too.

Negative: The location is a bit less central but I expected this when booking. However there are really good local stores including épiciers/groceries of various different cuisines such as Asian, African and North African. I liked the neighborhood, but sometimes as a solo woman on a night got approached by people for money or "to talk" (not the fault of the property) but to be aware of. My french is good enough to navigate these situations but not everyone's would be. Other than this the only criticism I have is that it was quite warm without a fan but it was a heatwave so I expected it. There was one issue with the door lock the first time but the host was responsive. There was a bit of a longer communication delay about check-in on the day I arrived but when the host responded I could check in early. Again I was very grateful of this earlier check in availability.
