Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Quaint old building in town but with secure off street parking. There are 3 rooms - 1 downstairs where we were and 2 upstairs. The kitchen / breakfast area is shared. The first 2 nights we were the only people there so we had the run of the place, but on our last night, all rooms were taken. Breakfast was great with juice, yoghurt, croissants, fresh bread, cheese, jams and coffee / tea. Used the tram to get into town - much easier than driving. The tram starts just up the road - a few minutes walk. Julian, the owner’s son was running the place whilst his mother was away - he was friendly and helpful.

Negative: Had a little trouble gaining access but it was soon sorted. As it is an old building, there was noise from people moving around upstairs on the last night.

Summary: A great place to stay - something different.
