This fabulous, typical Majorcan cottage with private pool is near Inca, in the centre of Mallorca and welcomes 5 guests.
A verdant garden is a heavenly place to relax, sunbathe on one of six sun loungers or take a refreshing exterior shower. In the midst of the garden stands out the big, 10.5m x 5.2m chlorine pool with a depth between 1.1m and 2.2m. Two natural fish ponds are the home of colourful fishes and water plants. The kids enjoy playing on the playground or the in the garden. A furnished porch with pool billiard is perfect for long family-evenings or having a tasty barbecue. On the upper floor, a terrace has wonderful views overlooking the countryside and green woods. This enchanting house is fenced and there are no direct neighbours. The house offers accommodation on one floor and 250m². At the entrance, a hall gives access to a cosy sitting room, where to watch a film on the satellite-TV. In the dining room you can share laughs and talks with your loved ones. The kitchen with A/C, vitro hob and TV (no satellite, only local channels) is well-equipped, providing all amenities needed for cooking. There are three bedrooms, two with a double bed (one with air conditioning) that have an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a third with a single bed. The last two bedrooms also have shared air conditioning. Two more bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a shower, complete the floor. You'll find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board in one of the bathrooms. There's one cot and one high chair and we can supply another on request. This distinctive house is just 1km from Inca, where you'll find everything you may need during your holidays, including good restaurants and supermarkets. Thursday takes place the traditional market, where to buy fresh fruits, vegetables and knick-knacks. If you like to be in nature, you can make a trip to the chapel of Santa Magdalena or the Monastery of Lluc. The north coast, especially Puerto de Alcúdia, is wonderful for a beach-day and it is about 25 km away. Furthermore, the coast is nice for cycling routes, spending a day in the water park of Alcúdia or just enjoy the fine grained sand beach. The north of Alcúdia surprises with small beaches like La Victoria and Playa de Sant Joan. If you're into golf, you can practise the perfect tee-off in Alcanada. Note: We cannot accept guests under 27 years unless they are accompanied by their parents. We need copies of the passports of all guests in order to accept the booking.Pets are not allowed. Surroundings
Mallorca is the largest island of the Balearic Islands, here you think of beach resorts, but there are more ways to enjoy the coast and inland, especially in autumn and winter, when the large groups of tourists are gone and the temperature is therefore more suitable for outdoor activities. You can spend a week in the Tramuntana mountain range in the west of Mallorca, walking or cycling. Or you visit a winery in the center of the island where you can try local traditional wines. Visit a farm by bike or walking, here you can learn how to make sobrasada or mallorquin pork sausages. You will find great places to eat here. The chefs of Mallorca use traditional recipes adapted to modern tastes. There are six Michelin star restaurants on the island. This famous enthusiasm for the local cuisine can also be seen in the other restaurants on Mallorca.
Even though you have been to the island several times, there is always something to discover, especially if you enter the lush inland or explore the spectacular coastline.
Normally the beach season starts in May until the end of October, but the island is also beautiful in spring when the walnut tree is in bloom. Outside the hottest months of July and August, the Balearic Islands are an ideal place for an active holiday, where you can see everything if you are interested in plants and birds, or if you want to discover the local culture.
While many beach resorts close during the winter months, Mallorca is an ideal holiday destination all year round. If you want to do more than lie on the beach, take advantage of the low winter prices and enjoy the taste of real life on the Balearic Islands.
