Start with Saint Guilhem le Désert at 37 km, one of the jewels of the medieval Languedoc, considered one of the "most beautiful villages in France" and located between vertiginous cliffs. Nearby is also the famous Pont du Diable, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and much appreciated by hikers for its panoramas. You can canoe down the river. Pézenas, the town of Molière, with its antique stores and lively little pedestrian streets where you can discover regional, culinary or artisanal specialties, is only 7 km away. Treat yourself to a stop at the Museum of Toys and Wonders, the Abbey of Valmagne, in the heart of the oldest vineyards of Languedoc, in Lac du Salagou, 27 km away, where you can practice various nautical activities (sailing, pedal boat, paddle ...). A hike around the Cirque de Mourèze will offer you a magnificent panoramic view of the lake. In particular, the side trip to the Etang de Thau in Bouzigues offers the opportunity to taste the famous oysters in an exceptional setting.
