This is a traditional 100-year-old stone farm cottage that has been lovingly restored retaining many original features such as seasoned chestnut beams and a cosy open fireplace. Designed as a romantic and stylish retreat for couples it has a king size double bed and lovely handmade Ronda furniture in the open plan living/sleeping suite. An antique arched door leads to the bathroom attractively decorated with hand painted tiles from Seville, while a second archway leads to a compact and well-equipped kitchen. Wifi. AC. Pets welcome.Outside there's a lovely patio for al fresco dining and enjoying birdsong, fragrant flowers and gazing at the stars come nightfall.
The scenery around the cottage is spectacular with sea views to Gibraltar and Morocco from parts of the estate. Set in a national park this enchanting mountain retreat offers fantatstic walks, peace and tranquillity in surroundings of breathtaking natural beauty and yet the bustle of coastal towns such as Estepona and Marbella is a short drive away. The casita really offers the best of both worlds. A perfect retreat for bird, animal and nature lovers or just simply to relax and soak up the sun and the beauty beside the large private pool.
Its just a short distance from the white village of Casares where there are shops , bars and restaurants and 18kms to the coast and beaches.
