Positive: 1. Location was strategic. Metro/subway literally across the road, 1 stop away from the main train station. Easy access to buses and taxis. Close to the markets and point of interests. Many cafes, convenience stores nearby. 2. Lift access. 3. Apartment was quiet despite being situated at a busy road. 4. Abundance of lounging space in living room. All common spaces are generous in size. 5. Sufficient hanging rack space in cupboards with enough hangers. 6. Modern feel.

Negative: 1. The property is need of a revamp. There is peeling paintwork particularly in the bathrooms, loose shower holder, misfitted mouldy wooden planks in one of the showers, broken and rusty dishwasher. Some furniture are damaged and not usable but remain in the apartment. Cooking equipment eg. frying pan, need to be replaced. Knives blunt. Beds frames are delicate and mattresses show wear. Some downlights don't work. 2. Although there is central air conditioning, rooms do not have sufficient air. This is obviously acknowledged by the hosts as there is a stand fan provided in each bedroom. 3. There is an outdoor hanging rack assessible through the open window in the kitchen but not enough clothes pegs to allow one to fully use the rack. 4. Cleanliness of the property is questionable. Ironing board shares the same cupboard as the mop and broom, which looks dusty and in need of an overdue spring clean. Same with the cupboards by the washing machine. We also found a live cockroach in the kitchen basin one day. 5. Although the kitchen is full of cleaning products under the sink, there is no laundry powder and only one dishwashing capsule. None were further provided despite our request. 6. Access is using physical keys (only one set), which makes going out and returning individually a hassle. We were informed by the host that the digital access doesn't work and they had to resort to physical keys. However, upon arrival, one can tell that the keyless option was never available in the first place as the door does not have a digital lock system fitted. 7. The peep hole is empty and one can literally see right out to the main lift foyer. The peep glass must have been removed and not replaced, which contradicts privacy and security.
