The house is very quietly located in a beautiful region with vineyards and rivers, just a few minutes drive from the center of Nîmes. Nîmes is a very lively Roman city known for its magnificent historical monuments, including the Arena. Also worth seeing are the 'Maison Carrée' and its gardens with fountains, with a very rich history, beautiful museums and a feria that attracts many curious people. The variety of good restaurants and nice stores is impressive. This vacation home is a good starting point for excursions to the Camargue, the Regional Natural Park unique in the world for the variety of wild landscapes and animals in semi-liberty (horses, bulls, migratory birds). Do not miss the discovery of Avignon, Uzès and Montpellier, all three, beautiful cities with rich heritage. But also worth visiting are the magnificent small wine villages, especially around Sommière or Uzès. The sea with its sandy beaches like La Grande-Motte is 48 km away. In 4600 m distance a beautiful golf course (18 holes) awaits you, a riding school is in 6 km distance. There are several opportunities for hiking in the immediate vicinity, a tennis court at 6 km and a very nice and accessible greenway in Clarensac at 20 km . The summer kitchen next to the pool is very pleasant both at noon and in the evening to take meals there. Note that the house is accessible via some steps.
