For those looking for a traditional seaside holiday there is the nearby pebble beach and Victorian pier at Deal, Sandy beaches can be found in the nearby seaside towns of Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate. Close by is the city of Canterbury, with the world-famous Canterbury Cathedral and all its medieval history and a wealth of restaurants, bars and boutique shopping. There are more close by visitor attractions, including Walmer Castle, The White Cliffs Experience at Dover and Howletts Wildlife Park and the amazing local vineyard where you can pre-arrange a tour.
Enter the property, into the welcoming hallway/breakfast area where a small table and chairs offers a quiet spot to enjoy a casual breakfast and then head into the open-plan lounge/diner where you will find a comfy sofa and armchairs nestled around the original inglenook fire place with open fire. Curl up in front of the fire to catch up on your favourite TV programmes on the TV or enjoy the romantic glow of the flames whilst you dine at the dining table and chairs. Heading back through the hallway and into the kitchen you will find everything that you’ll need for whipping up a delicious family meal including an electric oven and hob, fridge, and microwave. There is also a freezer and small fridge in the storage shed. The ground floor is completed with a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, and WC. The washing machine is located in a cupboard in the bathroom. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there is a large open area with a day bed that can be either used as a place to relax with a good book or for an additional guest. There are two double bedrooms on this floor and a separate WC. Double and secondary glazing fitted throughout the property.
Outside is an enclosed garden to enjoy, with patio area, and table and chairs, great for summer entertaining. There is small shed for bicycle storage and hanging wet coats, freezer and a small fridge There is private parking for up to 4 cars.
