Pleasant cottage on the heights of Nîmes, just 5 minutes from downtown, in a quiet residential area on the Gard. Less than an hour from the beaches, you will be charmed by its rustic and well-kept charm. You are in an ideal location to discover the sights of Provence and Occitania. First of all Nîmes, a magnificent city known for its cutlurean heritage, with its arena, the Maison carré, but also its cobbled streets with restaurants and nice stores. Many activities are available (amusement park for children, swimming pool, cinema, karting, paintball ...). Visit Aigues-Mortes and its salt flats, Arles and its monuments, and also the annual photo festival in Montpellier. Visit Uzès, a magnificent medieval village, or the Pont du Gard, classified by UNESCO, the village of Baux de Provence or that of St Remy de Provence. Absolutely worth seeing is Avignon and its festival, which takes place every year in July, its papal palace as well as its famous bridge. Anduze and its bamboo plantation are 47 km away. Take a trip to the Gorges du Gardon where you can practice many activities (canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, climbing, quad (21.5 km). There are several markets with local products such as olives and olive oil, wines of the region meat and sausages, honey, goat cheese, fruit.
