Frank Fristensky, Durango, Colorado Frank was born and raised in the former Czechoslovakia and speaks fluently the Czech language and is able to communicate in many Central European languages as well. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe and has lived in Durango, Colorado, USA for over 22 years while leading small group and custom tours in Central Europe for the past 15 years. He is very passionate and enthusiastic about ensuring that all of his travelers receive the best possible experience on his tours. Frank had personally experienced the Soviet led invasion of Czechoslovakia in August of 1968 that was followed by his defection to Switzerland and later to the USA. His grand-uncle and grand-father were world famous wrestlers who are still enjoining a celebrity status in the Czech Republic and Europe. They both were successfully competing in the USA in 1913/14 and 1921. Frank returned to his former home country in the summer of 2018 |
