Activity Level: In order to get the full benefit of our trips, an adequate degree of physical conditioning is recommended due to a good amount of walking and hiking that is involved in touring cities, cultural sites, and natural areas. In addition, some small hotels do not have elevators and the traveler must be able to transport their own luggage (we help if help is needed). Travel Insurance: Tour Central Europe strongly recommends protecting yourself and your investment is case you have to cancel or interrupt your tour. There are many incidents that are forcing travelers to cancel their tour at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, injury, emergencies or delays or even cancelation of air travel. We recommend purchasing Travel Guard with its "Gold Plan." However, you may choose another travel isurance of your choice.

Air Transportation: Your tour package does not include airfare to and from Central Europe, and you will need to arrange your own. Please contact Frank Fristensky prior to making your reservation. If you need assistance, please contact Frank. Please remember that the first and last names on your plane ticket must be exactly the same as they appear on your passport.

Land Transportation: Modern air-conditioned van or mini bus are used for our land transportation. For the convenience of the majority of travelers, there is a no smoking policy on board. However, there are frequent stops so that those who wish to smoke will have the opportunity.

Hotels: Accommodations are usually locally owned hotels in order to maintain contact with the local culture and to support the local economy. Please note, however, that European hotel rooms tend to be smaller and air conditioning is not as common as in the United States. Also, standards of service may vary and amenities may be limited. These things may be particularly true with hotels in rural areas. It is our goal to find accommodations that offer the best combination of quality, atmosphere, value, and location.

Meals: Some meals are included and feature local cuisine. Drinks are on your own. Please let us know if you have any special dietary considerations. The tour directors will pre-book tables, many times the meal is pre-determined, and the food is always delicious. There is also opportunity to dine on your own without the group.

Changes: We will do our best to adhere to the itinerary as closely as possible. We do, however, reserve the right to make changes to any part of the itinerary if causes beyond our control force use to do so. In such cases, comparable services and accommodations will be substituted.

Agreement: Tour Central Europe reserves the right to remove any member from a tour in progress if it is thought that the individual is adversely affecting the health, safety, or enjoyment of the other participants. No refund will be made for the unused portion of the tour.

Responsibility: Tour Central Europe acts only as an agent for all carriers and services and its responsibility is strictly limited. We are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage to person or property during the tour. We cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, natural disasters, strikes, war, or other events beyond our control. By forwarding your deposit to us, you certify that you do not have any mental, physical, other condition of disability that would create a hazard for yourself or other passengers, and agree to be bound by the above-stated terms.
