Tour Details

Your Tour Guide... Frank Fristensky.

This special tour has been designed with these important considerations on our minds:

  1. Visitation of places where your ancestors came from according your and our research.
  2. Convenient day trips without moving from hotel to hotel.
  3. Personalized service from the very beginning to the conclusion of the tour.
  4. Spectacular itinerary that combines experiencing the villages, castles, cities, country and historical sites, local music and culinary treasures, and more in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
"My feelings are in each family there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. To me doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the story tellers of the tribe. All tribes have one. We have been called as it were by our genes. Those who were gone before cry out to us: Tell our story. So we do. In finding them, we somehow find ourselves"..... Anonymous.

What a unique experience Frank and Mike prepared for us. The trip fulfilled all the promised components very well. But the "surprises" they built in were fantastic. Two in particular were beyond outstanding. Thanks to the great attention to details by Frank and Mike, the great choices of restaurants, the personalized stops in little villages and Kamil capturing it all was way beyond my expectations. Frank and Mike made our family feel very special. You are tour guides extraordinaire!

I want to thank you for the wonderful and thoughtful tour that you and Michael put together for us. It was great seeing where we came from and touring the Czech Republic as well. I always thought, I was half German, but now I want to know more about the history of the Czech lands.

"This trip was by far the best of our visits to Europe, where we travel often. I think it was because of Frank, Mike, Kamil, along with their multitude of contacts all knowing how to reveal the interest of the group. We were able to enjoy culture, history, personal histories, current atmosphere, and still keep enlightening on our ancestry. We experienced numerous surprises along the way including, a Horsovsky Tyn mayoral greeting, along with a private visit to the castle, Mrakov group folklore performance, and the candle light Gregorian chant at the Church of the Assumption of Our Lady. There were many other surprises and personal touches too numerous to mention here. You did an amazing job! "
